My girlfriend, Ashley, is a very talented photographer. She and her husband own their own company, Jada Love Photography ( www.jadalovephotography.com ) She came to our home when Greyson was just over two week old and took these pictures for us. I'm very excited about these pictures and think she did an amazing job. It was a very tearful, poop filled photo shoot and she was so patient with us between diaper change, clothing changes, and feedings to capture these amazing photos.

We took Greyson to the Witches at Gardners Village. I have never been, so I was excited to see all the witches. Greyson did a great job with having a good attitude for how many times we took him out of his stroller and took pictures. I met up with my sister Tori, her boyfriend, his daughter, and Tori's two boys for the first part. Thomas came and met Greyson and me later on in the day after he got off of work.

Thomas's aunt Karen made Greyson some darling beanies and his blanket. So we decided to show him off in his pumpkin beanie she made him with the pumpkins in our landlords garden. I was playing in photoshop with the actions, that's why their kind of dark, still learning :)

This month is our 5 year anniversary. Since Thomas is so crazy busy with school, we had to be flexible in our celebration. I start out celebrating by surprising Thomas with a pair of shoes he's been wanting for a while now. On the morning of our anniversary, I woke up to get ready for work. Sitting on my dresser was 2 little boxes, one from Belliston Jewelers containing a silver chain and the second box being one of a beautiful shade of blue... Tiffanys :) He bought me a key pendant to wear on the chain. A couple days later, on Saturday, we went for couples massages, watch x-men, and had an olive garden picnic at Weber State where there used to be a stop light that we met at. We had so much fun just being together. It's been an amazing 5 years, I gladly look forward to our next wonderful 5 years.

I'm really feeling him kick now and love it! It's so fun to feel him moving inside. I had the coolest ultra sound this week where the hospital tech did all sorts of measurements of the baby size and blood flow. They also did a 4D ultra sound where we got to see the baby's features. I honestly can't tell who he looks like. My mom says Thomas. Guess we'll find out in 3 1/2 months.

Mini Vacation

This week was Thomas's last week before his summer semester began. And after thinking, he really won't have a break until Christmas because of his MCAT, so.... we decided let's take advantage of this time. Thursday afternoon, Thomas picked me up from work and took me to the Hogle Zoo. We had a blast walking around and playing with our new camera. After the zoo, we ate some pizza and went to the Desert Star Playhouse.

Friday, after I watched the Royal wedding, we went to 25th street in Ogden and walked around. We crossed the street and went to the Union Station. We had some much fun just walking and talking. Later in the afternoon, we went to the dollar movies and saw Gnomeo and Juliet. Cute movie, I recommend it if you haven't seen it.

Start of 18 weeks. Were feeling great and are very healthy. Got to see him Friday. He was busy moving his arms around, opening and closing his hands, and flipping. Were enjoying our light jogs, yoga, and massages. Our favorite time of day is when we get off the train and get to be with Thomas.

Week Vacation

Last week i took a weeks trip to visit my family in St. George. Morgan and I spent the week with crafts. Candace joined us in making a wonderful birthday cake for Shane and Lexie. Here is showing all the crafts we made that week. It was a very refreshing and fun filled week!

My roommate Sarah finally married her longterm boyfriend Josh. They decided to have a masquerade as their wedding. It was so much fun! Dressing up, plus they had a circus, almost literally. People on stilts, guy juggling knives, and fire dancers, talk about cool wedding.

2 weeks ago I tried out for a local community theater; production "The Christmas Carol" I was super pysched about it and prepared :) The first auditioned I ROCKED IT!!! I knew I was getting a call back and I did. A few days later at call backs, still feeling good.... til I had to sing. They gave me a song to prepare. I had never heard this song before, practiced the best I could... and I was the first to sing the song with the music I had never heard that way. Flustered and thrown off I made it through the best I could. I didn't feel so good after that, yet I knew I had done an excellent job in the cold reading and dancing so....

I have officially made it in my first ever musical. I will be in the ensemble. I'm very excited about this opportunity. Rehearsals start tomorrow!

Winston Churchill once said " There's nothing wrong with change, if it's in the right direction." I think this is a great statement, though the meaning can be accepted in so many different ways. Take my life for example, I've added and taken away from it so many times and in different ways. Honestly, I wonder if I am a flake. Yet I know I am an extremely hard worker. To me, my decisions make sense though my ability to explain them doesn't always. (as you'll read below) I've been working through decisions the last couple years trying to decide and figure out the best option. And having to be my families only supporter hasn't helped much either - just added to the stress and confusion of what needs to be done, what I want to do, and what I should do. Let me explain....

See, in my past life, I had felt it necessary to be an over achiever (not to say that I'm not now but still....) I
was raised in a family that it wasn't really okay to be mediocre though I'm sure I still would have been loved. My schedule would consist of school, after school would be swim lessons/team, dance lessons, piano lessons, back to dance lessons, sleep and it was like this 4 days out of the week. Weekends were dance compitions or swim meets. and depending on the season depended on swim meets or track meets.
Then I transferred to Grantsville where I also joined the Drill team and Cheer team. Mornings: 4:30 am, shower, dress, grab a quick breakfast, run out the door, drive 30 minutes to school, there by 6:55 am in time for practice to start... the after school was much the same, and to add to the after school was class presidency/school activities. When graduation came, the school gave out "involvement awards" and thus I awarded with the highest involvement with counting 36, yes 36, clubs and teams I was involved with during my short 4 years of high school. College didn't fall short of my "over achieving" self. By the time I was a senior, I was working on 2 bachelors, a minor, became LEED AP ( an accrediation that says I can participate in the designing of "green" building, kind of a big deal in the design/architecture world) working part time as a server, and had started my venture with Mary Kay Cosmetics... whoo no wonder I slept for a month straight after graduation.
Since graduation, I have felt my life have major ups and major downs. I've felt tired, overwhelmed, burnt out, and some brief moments, sad. Now don't take this as a pitty party becuase maybe right now it may sound like one, it's not; just hear me out.
This last year and some months has been filled with loads of tears and prayers; both happy and frustration. Worked for a boss who refused to treat me fairly and pay me fairly, worked hard at my Mary Kay business to reach car and directorship, and got my real estate license. Now I truly believe every thing happens for a reason.I do believe the Lord is always watching out for us and has our best interest in mind, though we may not see it or hardly understand what's going on.
Well the crappy air filter business pushed me to work Mary Kay harder (yay for lipstick.) even though I did get burnt out, it opened my eyes and understanding and heightened the eyes of others around me to suggest that I look into becoming a real estate agent. Well thinking everything does happen for a reason, I took classes studied, (passed the state exam , and started working with Craig Goodliffe at Keller Williams. Craig has taught me a lot, and I mean A LOT! Example: I know I'm alive, I just haven't taken the time to step back and think why I'm doing what I'm doing - What's my direction and goals. Why am I working so hard wihtout direction, he questioned my critical thinking, asked the question "Who is John Galt", and if money is the root of all evil - what is the root of all money, he introduced me to audio books (silly I know, but I've finished 4 books in2 months) and to Ayn Rand whom is this amazing writer. She wrote Atlas Shrugged. Has to be the VERY best book I've ever read or thought about reading. A big thanks to Craig, his patience, and for being a great mentor. Thank you for taking me under your wing.
I've also had such a great opportunity to do trade work with April Widmer. Now many of you may not know her, or who knows, maybe the only people who look at this blog is Morgan so she knows April very well. Anyways, beside the point. April has this amazing talent and gift of healing and helping. (Which has oh so nicely been instilled in Morgan) Well with her enlightenment, she has helped me understand my reasoning behind the madness of always having to be so over worked, over booked etc. and being my need for wanting the approval of my family - which I'm still trying to understand how I fit in, because I feel like I'm so very different from them all and that's okay. It's good to be who you are. ANYWAYS, she taught me to quit listening to others and let the Lord guide me. Well long story short, I have been. I've been praying, fasting, temple attendance, reading my scriptures, etc and you know what.... I haven't gotten a clear answer :) and that's okay.
I do know is that though I love being around people and helping people, I don't enjoy having my job as a sales (wo)man - continually prospecting not my thing, as much as I like meeting new people, not that way. I've learned I truly do love interior designing, decorating, and staging. and that I need to be open and to allow the lord to guide me.
So with knowing I didn't enjoy the day to day of selling and knowing I'd be fine whatever I did.. I applied for jobs that were of interest - Flight attendant with Delta, interior design with interior solutions, and an interior design position at GSBS architects.
In the interview with GSBS, they told me they had over 60 applicants, are only interviewing 4 people and well as of today, I will be their new Junior Interior Designer. I will be working on commercial projects and mainly on temples for the church of Jesus Christ. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have this position. I wasn't sure what to do when they first offered me the position, yet after much praying, fasting, blessings, meditaion etc, I felt strongly that I accept this offer, so I did.
Now as for real estate, I'm going to continue with my license and practice part time and will continue to be a buyers agent on Craig's team. Still if you have any questions on real estate, please call, I'm happy to help.

So if this isn't as clear as mud, I apologize. Pouring out/thinking/typing out loud well some times it's just a mess. So just so were clear:
1. Mary Kay - on the side, selling my excess stock for a discount

3. Interior Design - Jr. Designer with GSBS Architects, plus continuing my projects I have on the side and lined up to start soon.

Weekend Project for my friend Emily

About 4 weeks ago my friend Emily had a baby girl. he night before her and the baby were released from the hospital, Thomas and myself started working the in the afternoon til the wee early hours of the morning painting and setting up different rooms of the house. I changed the bathroom from a bright mustard yellow to the two toned blues. The baby room was a dark lilac purple and I changed to a lite green. I drew the tree and painted that in a green apple green. Thomas painted the crib to the black. Emily was so happy and excited about the changes.

Marcia Baby Shower

My friend Krystal approached me about a month ago about having a baby shower for our friend Marcia from our old 15th ward. Of course I jumped all over it. We thought that the Mad Hatter theme would be fun and went to work. I decorated my back yard garden area with Japanesse lanterns, we had scones, finger sandwich, lemon tea cookies, herbal tea, and an amazing mad hatter cake. Marcia opening her presents.

Cruise to Mexico

This July 4th holiday week, my parents took my entire family on a family trip/cruise to Mexico. It was so much fun!! My favorite part was spending an entire week with Thomas. Getting ready to load the boat.
Enjoying the day out at sea even though it was cloudy and cold.
The cruise boat had lots of opportunities to take pictures.

My dad ordered a strawberry soup, when it arrived there was a small pile of strawberries and no soup. They forgot to put the cream in the soup. We had a fun laugh at that.

Thomas and I spent the day in the sun and got extremely burnt. It's taken about a week and a half to heal. They sure did blister and peel.
Thomas and I had a lot of fun singing karaoke.
In Puerto Viarta, we had a snorkel and zip lining day. The cold rain and water felt good on our nasty burns.
We had a total of 9 lines to zip across. It was fun to see my parents zip line too.
I got to try zip lining up side down. It was crazy, I was laughing extremely hard. There was so much blood rushing to my head. What a different experience.
In Mazatlan, we had a family beach day. I wanted to show the comparrison between a healthy looking tan and Thomas's sun burn. We had a lot of fun boogie boarding, body surfing, and laying on the sand.
Our Taxi driver took us to see old Mazatlan city. There was this church we got to quickly see.
We didn't get to spend a whole lot of time in Cabo San Lucas. Thomas, my mom, me, and all the kids went on shore for the couple hours we did have. Drevan had a lot of fun with Thomas.
After having to load on the boat, we played. We took Drevan miniature golfing, he really enjoyed it. He was funny to watch.
We loved have all the towel animals. I thought this was the cutest one Thomas posing.
There was another cloudy day, so Thomas and I went to the towel folding class.

I forgot to mention Wednesday I met up with some of my best friends from High School for lunch. It was so wonderful to be able to see them and have lunch, even though the first resturaunt pick didn't work out so well. We ended up at cheesecake factory. Thanks girls for the fun!!!

No pictures this time, but after this week there will be plenty. I wanted to let everyone know were doing great. Were getting ready to go on vacation. A cruise to Mexico yeah!! It'll be good to get some relaxation. I need my batteries recharged for sure. For the last month, I've been studying to become a real estate agent. Tuesday I passed the state exams, and have submitted to the state. So by the time I get back from vacation, I'll be an offical sales agent. Not sure what it all means but I've signed up with Keller Williams Brokerage. Yesterday, I went to Highland and spent the day with Morgan, Shane, Lexie, and Morgan's sisters. It was such a wonderful day. Wish we lived closer so we could have more days like that. Thomas joined up for the bbq dinner and we ended up spending the night. It was so much fun!!! anyways I should have pictures shortly.

It was raining that week we spent in St.George. It had a beautiful Rainbow.
Thomas and I were hanging out playing on our computers
Morgan, Shane and Lexie got me the most beautiful Mary Kay bag and a Mary Kay book. I am so grateful to them for all their love and support! Thank you!!!
So excited for my new bag.
Lexie and I went on the egg hunt together. The easter bunny left her a cute little stuffed animal.

Last year I attending my very first Mary Kay event, Career Conference held in Salt Lake. I was still quite new in my business and not quite sure what it was all about. Last year I went to this event and saw all these women getting awards, ribbons, on stage recognition, carrying bags, etc. and I thought "Man I wish I would have..." Well that day leaving the arena I told myself "Next year, you will win all there is to win at Career Conference." Well I've had some bumps along the way but never have I let it stop me. I've kept going, some days fast, some days slow, and even some days crawling but I still kept moving towards my goals. Well this last March was once again Career Conference and well I got onstage recognition 3x's, 7 standing recogintions, 2 pre-parties, pig at the fair with having 10 ribbons on my name badge, Real Pearl bracelet, special catered lunch, special made Mona bag, necklace charms, earnings, and some gorgeous Mary Kay sunglasses. Woah!!! Needless to say, it was amazing and I am working towards doing the same for Seminar in Dallas.
I am very grateful to the Lord for putting this opportunity in my life. I am grateful for my husbands support and love. I'm grateful to my families love and support, and grateful to my hard working team.

Mona (my national sales director) said if I have 50 team members when I debut as a director, she will fly to Utah for my debut.
Yvette Frankcom is from Mary Kay corporte. She is VP of Products and Marketing. I had a fun time eating lunch with her at the "Girls Love Pearls" ceremony. I asked her to bring back the nail polish lol I'm on my last bottle!!
Julie had some fun recognition in her hotel room after the first night of Career Conference. I love recognition!!
One of the 3x's I got to walk across stage for doing exactly what I signed up to do, Facials lol I love this company and how the reward women. It was neat having an entire stadium cheer for you.

It was a pretty warm day, so we took Otis out for a ride around little Pine Canyon. Jernae and I couldn't stop giggling, it was so much fun!
We had my family over and ate my favorite meal, though I still have no idea how to spell it. Haluska and paprikash!!
Thomas has a surprise bday party for me and it was amazing. Had great friends there to share it with. Thomas worked so hard to make me a birthday cake in the shape of my coveted Chevy Malibu. He's so amazing!!

I wanted to let you know, I have officially gone on target for the Mary Kay Chevy Malibu. February was an amazing month, all the with lords hand. I put forth the effort but he did the molding. I truly believe that since I've been living the values of God first, family second, and work third, we've have been blessed to be able to have my Mary Kay business be our sole income and have the opportunity and privilege to earn the amazing (and truly Free) car.

So what it intails to be the car is 14 active team members and $20,000 production, within 4 months. To go on target, there needs to be 5 active team members and $5,000 production. I finished February with 7 active team members and $5700 production. I have my first month done and now have up to 3 months to finish. I have a goal to do it in 2 months :)

Hey everyone, I have lots of picutures from the last month and a half. Sorry I haven't posted, with not having internet at home, it gets a little tricky.
I wanted to update you on everything.
The holidays were amazing. Last weekend we has Thomas's grandpa's 80th birthday celebration in Heber. It was so much fun.
We got Thomas a truck. It's a 2000 F150. What I really liked about it, is that it has the duel tanks so we can run it on CNG.
I got called the the relief society presidency and it has been keeping me very busy. I am loving my calling and feel very fortunate to have this calling.
My Mary Kay business is going AMAZING!! I thank the lord everyday for the opportunity. As I'm sure you know, I'm working very hard to make it my full time job. I'm working, praying, and fasting for opportunities to present product and the marketing plan. I honestly ask that if you have the opportunity to share my name and business, I'd really appreciate.
I'm working fully time at another company and am honestly struggling metally. I have a boss who I fight with constantly because he seems to think he doesn't have to pay me. More than ever am I grateful for Mary Kay, that has covered our bills and basic needs for the past 6 months.
Thomas is going to school full time at Weber doing all his pre-med/athletic therapy classes. He started the CNA program at the OWTC at nights. Basiclly, we see eachother Saturday nights and Sundays.

My Unity was a $450000 this last year. Our goal this year is to be part of the million dollar club.
Seminar was incredible. It has musicals, concerts, awards, plays, you name it, it was there.
Britney and I were in the top ten of sales for our national area. Britney was 7th and I was 5th.
It was fun to eat in the Cadillac dining area.
Judy and I went on a tour of the manufacturing plant. They had some fun displays set up all along the way.

Cruise

For my graduation present from my parents, they sent Thomas and me on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for a week. We spent a few days in Puerto Rico as well, making the trip a total of 11 days. I'm not going to lie, it was amazing. We had a lot of fun. Thomas has never been on a cruise before and I loved having the opportunity to share this event with him. We got a lot of great pictures, until our camera decided it didn't want to work anymore. We only have pictures from the first half of our week, which is sad.
We went zip lining through the jungle and snorkeling in Barbados. Snorkeled with stingrays in Antigua. Shopping in St. Marteen. Touring in St.Croix. Kayaking in St. Lucia. Plus diving, jungle driving, and touring in Puerto Rico.
I'm so grateful we were so privleged to go on this trip, it's an amazing opportunity. I'm very grateful and thankful to my parents for sharing such an amazing expericence with us. Thank you!

Wow so much has happened the last two weeks, I'm trying to think where to begin. We ran the Wasatch Back Relay. It was a lot of fun. Thomas, our crazy little runner, ran the 2nd half of Ragnar. He did it in 37:11. He took first place in the mixed corporate division, this is his 3rd year in a row doing this I think, and took 19th overall out of everyone who ran the hill. He's pretty amazing that one. It was so crazy to watch him literally sprint up this steep hill and keep a fast, steady pace.

I also debuted as a the newest Red Jacket for my unit!! I am so excited. It's the next level on the career path with Mary Kay. Before you know it, I'll be driving in my free car!!

My cousin Erin got married last weekend too. It was a lot of fun. She married Shelten Wells who I went to high school with. So not only did I get to hang out with family I don't see very often, but also some old classmates. We had a great time catching up and hanging out. Erin's sister, Jasmine, brought her adorable dogs to the temple all dressed up and ready for pictures. They were such good dogs too, but sadly they got kicked off the grounds since dogs aren't allowed on temple grounds. Understandable, but they were dressed up so cute, they should have made the exception :)

I also got to go see my friend Meghann and hold her new beautiful son, Porter. He's so tiny. It was crazy. He's four weeks old now and still weighs I think 6 lbs or something like that. He's so little!! Such a cute boy, a keeper for sure.

Our friends Ryan and Emily went out of town for the weekend and asked us to watch Rudy, their adorable dog. So of course we said YES!! We took him on a nice long hike Saturday in Ogden Canyon. He had a good time even though by the end he was pretty tired. and he liked playing in the water a lot.

Were going on a cruise this week. I'll post the pictures when we get home. I hope you have a happy fourth of July. We love you!!

Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since I've updated our blog. We moved to Ogden two weeks ago and have been going nonstop ever since. I feel like our place is finally getting somewhere and livable. It's just to the point to get finishing touches and get used to the place. Our walls are still pretty blank and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them still. I just wanted to post pictures so you can see our new place.

The living room is nice and large. I love having the hard wood floors. We put the armorie in the living room because of the space of the living room. It was to big to use how we were doing our tv stands. So our tiny tv now rests inside the armoire.

The Kitchen is nice a huge but has hardly any counter space, cupboards, no dishwasher but the washer and dryer are in the kitchen except their not any good at washing dishes J Were situating to having less kitchen storage space. It's nice and big though. Oh and the green floor, it'll be leaving us soon. Our landlords said that if we do the work they'll buy us new flooring. I'm exciting for that day.

I love having space to walk around the bed, we haven't had that since our very first apartment haha. We found Thomas a new dresser since his old one is now out in the living room for the tv lol. We painted it to match our furniture and works pretty good.

The bathroom has taken adjusting to. I've never not had a counter in the bathroom. It's been interesting trying to get ready but were doing good. We put a long mirror on the door so Thomas can get ready at the same time.

The second bedroom is nice a big. I can fit all my Mary Kay inventory and facial needs in the room as well as have space for Thomas to study. He's been working hard this semester at school.

Hope your enjoyed our new place. We're loving it here. It's such a nice, quite residential area. We have a lawn and garden, even though I'm terrible at gardening. We just might plant something one of these days, maybe lol.

Well, so much has been going on. We've been keeping pretty busy here. Thomas has been working at Wal-Mart and doing summer school. He's really enjoying his classes. I'm sure he'd enjoy one more once the book arrives. I've been busy working my business. It's going really good and I'm having a blast. I've also done a couple favor projects for friends that are posted. Nothing special but still kind of fun to change it up some. My friend Ashlynn ,who I made the baby invite for, owns her own interior design firm in Ogden. Saturday, she offered me the position of head designer along with marketer and graphic designer for her company. I'm pretty excited. I think it'll go really good. It'll be nice to use my degree.

Well I don't have a whole lot to update on. I've been officially graduated for a week now. The one class I was questioning the grade in, well the teacher was nice enough to give me the needed C, so officially, I'm done with school. Thomas started his summer classes today. He's pretty excited to get a move on with his education, though it's a very long road ahead of him. It doesn't seem such a bad road with the lord on our side. We found a cute little 2-bedroom apartment in Ogden. There's no dishwasher but has a huge lawn area, garden, and pantry. I'm keeping my eyes posted for a portable dishwasher. Well, I've applied for various design jobs, marketing jobs, and sales positions, but it doesn't seem to be the road I should be on right now. My friend Ashlynn has her own design firm and asked if I'd help her out for the summer and I agreed. That'll just be some small part time work, so I decided to really get in gear with my Mary Kay business and earn my first free car. It's a super huge goal and to be honest I'm scared nervous and very intimidated. But I figure hey you don't know til you try. So I've been working pretty hard for the last week trying to book appointments and get new names and numbers. Honestly, it's had it's ups and downs. I mean honestly no one likes to be told no. That's when you graciously accept and say thank you. with a smile. So I guess, I'm reaching out, and ask if you would like to help me with my huge goal of earning a car, I'd really appreciate it. If it's a matter of helping me reach my goal of a 100 faces or pointing me in a direction of someone who liked a facial, I'd really appreciate it.
I've had a lot of fun working my business and think of it as a blessing in disguise. Never in a million years did I think I would actually want to do this, but now that I"m working my business, I"m loving it. Well sorry for so much words and no new pics. Yesterday was the big day I have been waiting for since I began college. It was such a great day. My parents, sister Tori, Nephews Chandler and Stratton, In Laws Penney, Steven, and Candace, Grandparent Dewey, and my friend Phil all came to my graduation. It was fun since it was kind of a double wammy graduation since Thomas's cousin is in the same program, so her parents and siblings were there supporting both of us too!! It was such a wonderful day. It could have been easy to be grumpy about the cold, wet weather but we decided to have a lot of fun with it. I felt so proud of my accomplishment but more I felt so loved. Penney and Grandpa Kenney made me this beautiful candy lei and Grandma made an adorable, delicious cookie flower pot. We had a very yummy bbq at a near by park. My dad, the grill master hehe, cooked some scrumptious hamburgers. Overall we had a good time laughing, talking, and smiling for all the pictures that were taken. I have to say I am so very grateful for ALL of my amazing family. I love you all so very much and glad I have you.

Friday night there was a Valentines date at the stake center that Thomas and I went to. They had a dinner, games, and dancing. It was a lot of fun. We weren't very hungry so we didn't eat dinner, but it smelled very delicious. We had a lot of fun playing the newlyweds game, bingo, and making cards.

2 Saturdays ago, it was my nephew Drevan's 1st birthday. He's getting SO big I can't believe it. He's such a doll. The party was themed Dr. Suess. My sister, Hana, did a lot of work to make his outfit and put the party together. She did an excellent job.

Last weekend was Katie and Zach's wedding. Thomas and I went to Salt Lake for their reception. We had a great time catching up with Thomas's cousin Whitney and her husband Tyler. We don't get to see them much now that their living in New York City. It was so good to see them. Katie looked amazing as well.

St.George Marathon

THomas ran 26.2 miles in 3:13!!! I was so proud of him. He once again got terrible cramps in his legs. Were not quite sure why that keeps happening. Do you know? Any suggestions would be most helpful. He's going to try again next year most defently. Watching him and others run has really inspired me. I think maybe next year, I'll run the marathon as well.

Our Crazy Weekend

We had a great weekend, but it was so crazy busy. We started 4:30 am Saturday to help volunteer at the Top Of Utah Marathon. It was incredible to see it from the other point of view and I'm sure a good experience for Thomas to see where all the gatorade he drinks during his races comes from. There was one racer who was incredibly fast. He had to be at least a half a mile in front of the next runner. I was so amazed at his ability.

Thomas has the St. George Marathon next weekend. he's been training hard and is ready for this race. We got him new running shoes that he's been breaking in. His goal is to place top 10 in this race. I'm very excited to see how the race plays out.

The semester started for me on Tuesday. It's going to be a busy semester. Throughout the day, I'm running from class to class. I'm so glad to be back in Logan though. I love it here. One Week

I finished my time in New York last week. It's so crazy how a week that you want over can drag on forever, but a week that you want to last forever, blows by. That's how this last week went. I met Thomas in Chicago on Sunday. We had an amazing time. We walked around the downtown area, ate pizza, and went to the top of the John Hanncock building. We had an amazing time. I was so sad that this morning, saturday, 6 days later had come so quickly. I purposly didn't do anything during the days while Thomas was out selling so they would drag on and guess what, they didn't. They blew by so quickly. But I am now the proud owner of a small/slight tan line :) Enjoy the pics

Family Reunions

This last weekend I got to fly to Utah to go to the Taylor Family Reunion. The Taylor family is on my mom's side through her mothers, mother. Got it?
I got in about midnight Friday picked up by my dad and this gentleman, Bob, somehow were related. :) I'll just say he's my mom's cousin, it's a safe answer.
Saturday was full of adventures. I step out for breakfast to a back yard filled with people, each one explaining how their related and who in the group is married to who, etc. It was all very overwhelming.
We went boating, taking some of my cousins kids out tubbing. It was a lot of fun. I got so sunburnt, it still hurts!
That night, we had a dutch oven cookout and a country band come to the back yard for a good time. Everyone was up and dancing. The food was really good.

Well I didn't really get to finish talking about my anniversary. As most of you know, Thomas and I are apart this summer. So with regaurds to this, we didn't get to be together on our anniversary but are planning something nice when were together in 3 weeks. He did how ever send me a great card letting me know he was thinking of me and glad I'm his wife.
My parents came to visit me last weekend and got a nice surprise with my sister Tori and her 2 boys came as well. We had a great time. We went to Wicked, my 3rd time seeing it, an amazing Yankees game where they won!!! and had fun sight seeing and being together. Girls Weekend!

OVer the memorial weekend, my mother in law, Penney, sister in law, Candace, and sister in law, Morgan, came and visited me and the big apple for 5 very short days. We ran around like a bunch of crazy tourists hitting up the city until odd hours of the night just to wake up early and start again.
I took so many pictures as well except, tragic story. I was downloading them onto my computer and for some silly reason, my computer thought I wanted them all deleted, loosing every picture I had taken for the trip. It was so sad. Now I'm waiting for the girls to post theirs and burn them on a disk for me. It's rather frustrating but what can you do. It was an amazing weekend and I am so grateful they came. Kristin and I went to Serendipty and I enjoyed this massive amazing frozen hot chocolate.
Saturday we were on Statin Island helping Natalie find a place to live. Kristin was trying to get a picture of the pool to send to Natalie's husband. Anyways, so the picture is of Kristin and she totally looks like a peeping pedifile or something like that. I don't want to say Tom, well mainly cuz My Tom is amazing, hot and my wonderful husband.
We also saw the new Frank Gahry building. It's really cool. It's all glass with these crazy lights going through them.

Here is the picture of the rice crispy turtle I made for Thomas. It was all gone by the next morning.
He did an amazing job in the Ogden Marathon yesterday. He got a nasty muscle cramps that slowed him down but he did get 44th and came in at 3 hours and 10 minutes qualifing him for the Boston Marathon. Go Tubby!!!

Tuesday while Thomas was out selling, I made him a good luck on his marathon next week treat, since I won't be with him. So I made him a rice crispy turtle and a finish line. He seemed to enjoy it. Had it all gone by the next day.
Well my adventure of Chicago ended on Wednesday afternoon. I was so incredibly sad to leave. But I was excited to head to New York. Already I'm so exhausted from walking all over and going through the Met Museum. I ate a yummy cupcake on the stairs of it.
Today we went to Dylans Candy Shop. It was amazing!! So much wonderful candy and candy in the stairs and the name. I highly suggest it. And it's this great candy that I used to eat when I was little. I loved it, even though I didn't buy any. I enjoyed being there. We did some shopping and went to Times Square. The M&M World was really cool. Lots of candy there too. I must have a sweet tooth today, like every other day:)

We finally made it to Chicago Friday night. We haven't had the internet til today or else I would have posted something earlier. It has been great so far. On Friday we saw some of Hannibal then drove to Cathridge and Nauvoo. What an amazing experience. We went through the temple. I must say it is absolutly GORGEOUS!!! It was incredible. I think it's my new favorite temple. After doing some quick touring of the city, getting a frozen custard, we were back on the road driving to Chicago. Thomas didn't waste anytime when we got here getting right into selling. I moved Thomas into his apartment Saturday filling it full with food!! It kind of feels like a home, at least somewhere comfortable for him to come home to after a long day of selling. I leave Wednesday morning for New York. That'll be an adventure for sure.

Today has been an extremely long day. We made it through Nebraska and across Missouri. In Nebraska, we passed this cool looking bridge. I know it's in the world records for something, but I don't rember for why. We stopped at Adam on diaham, well after we searched for it for I'd say around an hour and was ready to just skip it but thankfully for this sweet lady that gave us awesome directions to get there and how to get back on the interstate. Needless to say, where we were lost at was pretty far out.
We pulled into Hannibal tonight about 3 hours ago and walked around this adorable town. It's all about Mark Twain, Tom Swayer, and Huck Finn. We plan on hitting some of the information places and hopefully a river boat tour. My sister inlaw Morgan told me there's a great homemade ice cream and well to be honest I want some. :) Tomorrow the plan is to head to Nauvoo for the day and be in Chicago by tomorrow night. I'll keep you updated.

Road Trip 2008!!

We started our long drive to Chicago today. And has it ever been long. Were currently in Nebraska and it'll be about a 5 hour drive to get to Missouri. It should be fun tomorrow. We stopped in Rock Springs to have a great lunch with Thomas's grandparents. It was way good to see them. We get to see them about once a year, so that was a good treat.

Oh my goodness, these pictures are fabulous. Thomas and I had them done Saturday by Kelly Howe. As you know, we'll be apart this summer and wanted some recent pictures of ourselves to have for eachother, make sense? I hope so. Also you may notice my sweet new haircut. Jessica Jensen did it. I'm friends with her sister Chelsea. Jessica is crazy talented and amazing to go to. I went to her and said I need something new fresh funky yet classy, have at it and she came up with this amazing do. I love it!!!

We leave in 6 days, so soon. We found someone to rent out our apartment while were gone, which is a great blessing to us. Except now we have to move all our stuff out, which sucks. :) So this weekend will lay out, Friday work then drive to St.George when we get off. Saturday go to Vegas for Uncle Ryans wedding and drive back to Logan after. Sunday, move our junk into a storage unit, blah. Monday gone all day doing presentations and client meetings, Thomas will have to study for his anatomy final, Tuesday Finals and work, Wednesday drive to Chicago. I'm going to miss everyone. Love ya!!!

Today was supposed to be the most frustrating, important day of my junior year. Jennifer Post was to come and critique a project done for her, which she assigned at the beginning of March. I got the news about 10:30 last night after getting off of work that Jennifer had cancelled her trip to Utah. Someone had stolen her identity, and she had to deal with investigators and such today. I feel bad for her, and hope it all works out. The critique went well otherwise with my professors and classmates. Jennifer may come in the fall, so we can get her opinion of our project. Today turned out to be a good day.

Long Time, No Blog and I'm sorry

It's been a few weeks since my last blog and I'm so sorry since for some of you this is your way of keeping up on what's going on in our lives. A lot has happened. It seems that since the start of the semester, last fall, this is the week I've been looking the most forward to and now it is finally here.
Each year the junior class has the opportunity to take on this HUGE project, not sleep for weeks on end, be stressed out til our hair is Benjamin Moore HC-165 Boothbay gray, and present our projects to a professional, big name designer. This year we and tomorrow, we will be presenting to Jennifer Post. She has been names Architectual Digest's top 100 designers. King of a big deal. Here is an example of the master bedroom I designed and rendered.

Now a couple weekends ago Thomas and I went to Vegas so Thomas could do some selling. He sold his first system. I was so proud of him. We had the opportunity to eat an amazing dinner with Stan and Marlane Coker. Shout out to them, hey!!! We had a great time. It was so good to see them.

This last weekend, Thomas and I were in St. George visiting his fabulous family. I hate leaving there. I never seem to want to go back home. Love being with them. While we were there, we ran a race called Run for Kids. Great cause. I ran the 5k and got a time around 27 minutes. I got 3rd in my age group and took 30th out of everyone who ran the 5k.
Thomas ran the 10k and rocked it!!! He took 1st in his age group and 3rd out of everyone who ran the 10k. He's so amazing. He's training and working hard. His marathon is next month in Ogden.
